MEET THE TEAM
Tchad Robinson is a Founder and Managing Director of CRC and is active in negotiating and structuring the firm’s acquisitions. Mr. Robinson’s educational background includes an MBA from Harvard Business School and an A.B. in Economics from Harvard College where he was a Harvard College Scholar. Mr. Robinson’s professional experiences include private equity investing, management consulting and entrepreneurial management and are appropriate to finance and operate medium and large companies. His strengths in forging strategic partnerships, coordinating operations, leveraging technology and financing companies serve to assist management teams in achieving significant growth while maintaining the Company’s existing culture of quality.
Mr. Robinson developed his private equity experience while working at Bain Capital, a leading Boston-based fund with $12 billion under management and also at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice with $3.5 billion under management. While employed with these firms he worked on transactions across a variety of industries and transaction sizes ranging from $10 million to over $1 billion.
Mr. Robinson sharpened his strategic operational skills while a consultant at McKinsey & Company, the leading global management consulting firm. While at McKinsey, he analyzed strategic, organizational and operational issues as a team member in management consulting engagements. These engagements involved assisting the CEOs or divisional leaders of Fortune 500 companies in the manufacturing, distribution and service industries.
Prior to CRC, Mr. Robinson was the Vice President of Operations and Business Development for Broadband 2 Wireless (BB2W) a national wireless telecommunications company. As VP of Operations he managed the majority of the firm’s employees and presided over the network construction and operations in 14 cities. Additionally, Mr. Robinson oversaw the technical development and integration of the Company’s network with strategic partners. As VP of Business Development, he negotiated partnerships with large multi-national equipment vendors. Mr. Robinson also led the Company’s international partnerships in Brazil, Europe and Asia where he structured and managed partnerships with government regulators, local investors and local strategic partners.
